Public Records Disposition Committee

The District of Columbia Records Disposition Committee reviews, revises, amends, and approves all records retention schedules submitted for consideration by the Public Records Administrator. The Committee accepts non-public records donated to the District of Columbia Archives which have historic significance and supplement the collection of the Archives. It resolves policy issues between the Office of Public Records and agencies of District government that pertain to the disposition of records.
