Once completed, this form must be faxed to the Office of Public Records at (202) 727-6076 for processing. Requests will be processed and researchers will be contacted to schedule an appointment to review or pick up documents. Requesting Deed Libers (Books) To request Recorder of Deeds libers, researchers must visit the Recorder of Deeds Office, at 515 D Street, NW, in order to obtain a DC Archives Liber Request Form. Once completed, this form must be faxed to the Office of Public Records at (202) 727-6076. Requests will be processed and researchers will be contacted to schedule an appointment to review libers or pick up copies of request.
