Historical Records Advisory Board

The Historical Records Advisory Board (Board) receives, reviews, and makes recommendations on all grant applications to fund historical records projects in the District of Columbia. The Chairman of the Board serves as the State Records Coordinator for the District of Columbia who works closely with the National Historical Publications Records Commission in preserving historical and permanently valuable records of the District of Columbia. Also, the Board serves as an advisory body that makes recommendations to the Mayor on collecting, preserving, and conserving historical records of the District government.
