Annual Report
 
The Office of the Secretary annually reports agency progress to the Mayor and the Council of the District of Columbia. The report includes summaries from the Executive Office, the Office of Documents and Administrative Issuances, the Office of Ceremonial Services, the Office of Notary Commissions and Authentications, the Office of Public Records, and the Office of Protocol and International Affairs. Additionally, the Secretary reports other activities including holiday events, the Mayor’s legal service, and the Freedom of Information Act.
 
Issued for DC residents, the report consists of data accumulated during the District's fiscal year, which runs from October 1 to September 30. The Secretary issues the report in the spring following the end of the fiscal year.
